Gregg Schumacher has a long history in Portland, and it gave him a unique insight into how hard it is in a liberal city to get even-handed justice, knowing if it is NOT even-handed, it is NOT JUSTICE at all. Radicals run the show at the moment, and that means government is not obeying the Declaration, for the only purpose of government is to protect the human rights of all, including protestors AND furriers.
Until 2007, 811 SW Morrison was home to one of the premier furriers in the country, and their battle to be protected as any other citizen or company is legendary worldwide. Gregg's last line in his bio says it well: "What happened to my family business is exactly what is occurring in Portland and other cities with lawless corrupt government officials not enforcing existing laws."
So, now he pursues restoration of civil, constitutional governance, as the founder of
Restore Law and Order, as well as two companies under the banner Stop Animal Rights Extremists.
And have you noticed? Even Willamette Week says furs are coming back.
So, members: are you ready for a sensible talk on government protection of rights to make up for that irrational assertion last month that we must stop producing CO2 because we don't have enough CO2? Tacos and Fajitas await us, and I won't even feel compelled to yell this time!

Any member or speaker may submit, by email, a simple update text presentation to be sent to the club mailing list, to give the membership to have more details, or just a recap of your platform presentation. To be considered for publication, please be sure to submit your update within 24 hours of the close of the meeting. Please don't include any pictures in your text, but links to web pages, or links to things stored elsewhere on the web -- .pdf files, Word documents, or even pictures -- are OK. Formatting and inserted pictures will not be copied, just the text content, so please don't use 4 fonts and 6 colors to convey your thoughts: you will be disappointed. Look at a previous followup email, or the bottom of most of the invitation emails, to see how they are presented. The simpler and cleaner your text, the more likely it will appear exactly the same in the email we send out.
